World History as A Branch of Historiography

The answer to the question what is the as a discipline in historiography?should be given in the light of the concept of world history.Chinese historians have been trying to define the concept during the past couple of decades.Some historians now regard the period for about five centuries from the 16th century as the world history according to Marx and Engels' theory on history.For these historians,human being had formerly isolated with each other in the for a very long time,and the did not appear until the different parts of globe have been gradually integrated into one since about the year 1500.However,the author argues that the theory of Marx and Engels on is mainly about their philosophical thoughts on the coming of communist society in the future.Therefore,it is not reasonable for historians to follow their philosophical thoughts to define the concept world history in historiography.The author is of the opinion that the means the of human being,which began when human being appeared in the world.The ancient before 1500 is certainly the part of the as well.The as a branch of historiography should focus its studies on all activities of human being from very ancient times.
