Abstract
Objective The paper is intended to study the stress distribution and movement tendency of the maxillary incisors in teeth and periodontal tissues in case of the T-loop with an angleof 15 degress added at the junctions of the vertical and horizontal legs. Methods The research was based on the three dimensional finite method, with 3-D element model of maxillary incisors on the left side employed including anchwire?brackets?incisors?periodontal ligaments and alveolar bone. Results The study reveals that when the gable bend was activated, lateral incisor was more likely to incline controllably than incisor .The displacement and the stress on the lateral incisor were more evident than those on incisor. Conclusion It can be justified that the employment of gable bend can efficiently control the movement of the teeth in filling the extracted socket.
