Abstract
A implement approach of CAD/CAPP part information integration based on the feature is proposed by analyzing the relation between CAD feature model and CAPP feature model.Parameterization feature description are used to input the part information and feature data extractions are used to extract the feature information from CAD system.While designing the part,whole part information of CAPP is produced and machining process is generated automatically.Key technique of the method is implemented in a II-CADCAPP experimental system.
