Urban villagehas double characteristics both of the country and the city,and it is a historical product in the course of urbanization.In recent years,urban villagehas become a hot issue of all walks of the society.This paper,taking urban villageof Kaiyang County for example,analyzes its basic condition and the transformation dilemma.Then,borrowing and characteristics of urban villagetransformation in Zhuhai and Guangzhou,it discusses countermeasures of urban villagetransformation of Kaiyang County in Guiyang City.Theurban villagetransformation should follow rules of scientic planning,high quality designing and constructing,conbined with the local features and environment location.
