Abstract
The experiment was performed to study effects on changes of dominating pigment in flesh and peel of Cara Cara after GA3 and bagging treatments. The results showed that GA3 and bagging treatment facilitated the accumulation of lycopene and β-carotene during fruit expanding period, but the two treatments both restrained their accumulation during fruit maturation period. There was no remarkable effect on changes of chlorophyll and carotenoid of peel after GA3 treatment.Bagging treatment seriously prohibited the synthesis of chlorophyll and carotenoid of peel and had no effect on degradation of chlorophyll of Cara Cara peel.
