Abstract
This research analyses the economic connection between different cities in Changzhutan urban agglomeration by establishing index of overall competitiveness and the calculation of gravity model and the intensity of urban flow model. It concludes that the overall competitiveness of changsha- zhuzhou- xiangtan urban agglomeration is not strong, outgoing service function is weak and urban agglomeration and radiation ability needs to improve. In addition, the degree of connection between different cities in changsha as the center to the periphery, every city has a strong connection withgold trianglewhich consist of Changsha/zhuzhou/Xiangtan. However, the connection between them is weak, and the sub-center is not prominent, the difference of the spatial framework of economic connection is similar.
