Abstract
During the experiment of vertical fan-shaped medium-length borehole blasting for mining in Guangxi tin mine, the effect of blasting parameters to the boulder yield and fines ratio was analyzed quantitatively by orthogonal experiment. The results and analysis indicated that the factors influencing blasting quality are burden distance, charging structure and hole-bottom distance in turn;the optimal combination of blasting parameters are hole-bottom distance 2.3 m,burden distance 1.3 m as well as hole-bottom detonation.Orthogonal test can reduce the times of experiment,is an effective approach to reasonably select blasting parameters and improve the blasting effect.
