Abstract
In view of power transmission from Jinshajiang to Central China a fractional frequency power transmission system is planned and designed. Digital simulation of fractional frequency transmission system is performed. The technical economical comparison through the above mentioned simulation of the proposed method with that of traditional ac and dc transmission system shows that using fractional frequency transmission system the transmitted power can be remarkably increased. This method is not only of economical superiority, but also feasible.
