Abstract
Next generation of network(NGN) is similar to many aspects of intelligent network(IN) principles, but it works better than IN due to different implementation technologies. Through comparisons between the architectures and goals of NGN and IN, five major drawbacks appeared in current IN technology are analyzed. Then several key technologies on open API, service generation methodology and network evolution that need to be concerned and further investigated for NGN are proposed, especially regarding how to inherit the invested IN to build NGN architecture.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
