Abstract

Dematiaceous hyphomycetes from soil in the different ecosystems of Liaoning Province were investigated. A total of 45 isolates belonging to 26 species in 18 genera were obtained from 28 soil samples. Among them, Bipolaris alocasiae and Humicola longistipes are new species. Specimens (dried cultures) and living cultures of all isolates studied have been deposited in the Herbarium of Shandong Agricultural University: Plant Pathology (HSAUP). Isotypes are kept in
