Abstract
The simulated tests were conducted in order to evaluate the temperature stress of high-density polyethylene(HDPE) geomembrane in antiseepage system of landfill of refuse which is composed of HDPE geomembrane and staple fibre nonwoven fabric. The test results show that the temperature stress in high -density polyethylene(HDPE)geomembrane changes with environmental temperature, the temperature stress in HDPE geomembrane occurs due to contraction when environmental temperature decreases. The temperature stress is analyzed by the relationship between temperature and E -modulus of HDPE geomembrane, the calculation results are closer to the test values.
