Abstract

Objective:To investigated the changes and significances of adhesion molecules in periheral blood with hepatocarcinoma patients.Method:the level of serum soluble P-selectin(sP-selectin),intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1)and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(sVCAM-1),and the expression of β 2-integrin(CD18)on neutropnils were determined using flow cytometry in 48 cases of hepatocarcinoma and 30 normal volunteers controls.Results:The mean fluorescence intensity of sP-selectin,sICAM-1,sVCAM-1 and CD18 were significantly higher in all subgroups of patients with hepatocarcinoma than in the control( P 0 05).Conclusions:Serum P-selectin,ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 levels and the CD18 expression on neutrophils were claimed to be the valuable markers in the early clinical staging in diagnosis.
