The Application of Interatcive Language Teaching on Non-English Majors

Abstract

The status quo of the teaching and learning of non-English majors,the requirements of English teaching reform,and the importance and practice of applying interactive language teaching are analyzed to illustrate the effectiveness of interactive language teaching,a language teaching mode.It is pointed out that one of the demands of modern English teaching research is to make interactive language teaching possible,to cultivate students' study initiative,to transform from teacher-centered to teacher-guided,student-centered and to improve students' overall ability to use English.
