Analysis of Landscape Structure of Park Green System in Xuzhou City

Abstract

City park green is the most important type which can embody all functions of city green. Adopting the indexes of landscape ecology, such as landscape diversity, dominance, evenness and fragmentation, and by GIS, the paper analyses the landscape structure of city park green inside the third-loop road of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province. The result indicates that the total capacity of park green inside the third-loop road of Xuzhou is few, the landscape diversity is low, the large patches of natural landscape type plays important role in the park green landscape, and that the spatial distribution of park green is uneven, “more in central area than all around” and “more in north area than in south area.” It is found that the spatial structure of park green in Quanshan district is the best, the Yunlong′s and Gulou′s just take the second place, and the Jiuli′s is the worst through the synthetical evaluation.
