Abstract
A method was developed for near field measurement using focused beam forming with a distribution map(image) of the target's noise sources in a vertical plane by a vertical line array.Pressure sensor arrays can only measure a two-dimensional distribution of the target's noise sources in some given vertical plane and can not distinguish the target's left and right(or front and back).Vector sensor arrays can solve this problem very well by using the combined information of pressure and particle velocity. We can first get the target's azimuth angle by histogram azimuth angle estimation, and then do focused beam scanning. It can also generate, from the target's noise sources,a three-dimensional image.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.

Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
