56 Cases of Elderly People Clinical Treatment of Low Back Pain

Objective six weeks of anti-osteoporosis drugs the effect of elderly patients with low back pain,explore better methods of treatment of elderly low back pain.Methods Select January 2006 to July 2009,Wujiang City during the Second People's Hospital admitted more than 60-year-old low back pain patients,Use of salmon calcitonin,alfacalcidol,calcium,and comprehensive treatment such as rehabilitation exercises,6 weeks for a course of treatment.2 weeks and 6 weeks,observing the effect of low back pain relief,compared with before treatment.Results After 2 weeks of treatment,56 cases of this group,markedly effective in 5 cases(8.9%)on 45 patients(80.4%),6 cases(10.7%),total effective rate was 89.3% After 6 weeks of treatment,this group of 56 cases were cured,14 cases(25%),effective 39 cases(69.6%),3 cases(5.4%),total effective rate was 94.6%.Most patients in the treatment of pain after 1 week had significantly improved.Conclusion Because of low back pain and osteoporosis in the elderly is closely related to the joint application of salmon calcitonin,alfacalcidol,calcium,comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation exercise is a good treatment for low back pain in elderly method.
