Abstract
Objective: To study risk factors of recurrent colorectal adenomas after resection. Methods: Colorectal adenoma patients were collected and divided into observation group with recurrence and control group without recurrence. Then general status and expression of Cox-1,Cox-2 were compared. Results: Less patients had regular diet compared with control group, and they were ≥40 years old in observation group.More patients had family history, smoking history, drinking history and anxiety and depression in observation group.Cox-2 mRNA and protein levels were significantly higher than control group.Cox-2 content was positively correlated with age, family history, smoking history, drinking history and spirit, and negatively correlated with diet. Conclusions: Age,family history, smoking history, drinking history, mental state, diet may affect recurrence of colorectal adenomas by affecting the expression of local Cox-2.
