Abstract
In order to clarify the water quality and nutrition status and protect the water environment of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir,this paper analyzed and appraised the water quality of the reservoir area and its branches.The results show that the water quality in the reservoir area is better and basically reaches Grade Ⅲ;the water quality of inflow from the upper Yellow River is worse and belongs to Grade Ⅳ to inferior GradeⅤ,which is the main source of contaminant in the reservoir area;the discharges of the branches are small,so they do not affect the water quality of reservoir area too much.The nutritional status evaluation of the reservoir is dominated by moderate nutrition status.The ratios of the moderate nutrition and the light eutrophication are 92.1% and 7.9% respectively.The light eutrophication in the reservoir mostly appears in spring.
