Abstract
Tantalum capacitor made from N-doped and tantalum nitride powders attracted interest due to its excellent characteristics such as lower leakage current and lower equivalent series resistance compared with the capacitor made from pure tantalum powders.The methods of synthesis N-doped and tantalum nitride powders were summarized,the principles as well as advantages and flaws of these methods were also pointed out.Finally,the research and development directions for N-doped and tantalum nitride powders in future were put forward.
