Abstract

Zhou Yang was a theorist of literature and art with a special and significant position in the field of present China's literature. Evaluation of his merits and demerits is yet to be made. A serious debate about his cultural personality has been going on since the 80's in the 20th century.. To evaluate him, we should try to take an objective historical view and avoid a sentimental one. It will be a good attempt to analyze his cultural personality from the perspective of revolution.
