ON THE POSITVE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE "SOUTHWARD" MARCH IN THE LONG MARCH AND ITS REASONS

The was one of heavy setbacks in Long March . But, it also had important military and political positive contributions to Long March: it supported and sheltered Central Committee of Chinese Communist Partys single Northward March objectively; and it cooperated with Central Committee in hard struggle against enemy in constructing Shanbai Revolitonary Headquarters strategically; and it supported and protected Second Corps and Sixth Corps which fought against enemy dramatically;and thus laid foundation for Long Marchs victory. The Red Army in process of the Southward March also sowed revolutionary seeds widely and did Working Teams duty greatly which was revolutionary army's responsibility for people. These contributions were fruits of recipocal action of many factors. It was most essential part of these factors that Chinese Communist Party has always been Red Army' s spirit and centre.
