Abstract
The enthalpies of interaction of adenine, deoxyadenosine, and deoxyribose with alkylamines (ethy-lamine, propylamine. butylamine. heptylamine) at different temperature (288. 15K, 298. 15K, and 308. 15K) were determined by a LKB-2277 microcalorimetne system. The experimental results indicate that there is an obvious regularity of the interaction enthalpies between them. UV spectra also confirm that adenine and deoxyadenosine interact with heptylamine. Comparing the interaction enthalpies of some alkanes (hexane and heptane) with host molecules (adenine, deoxyadenosine. and deoxyribose). the possible active positions were discussed when alkylamine interacts with adenine and adenosine.
