Abstract

Rousseau was the famous thinker in the period of French Enlightenment Movement, whose thoughts of social contract have significant influence on later generations. The book Social Contract is the concentrated embodiment of his thoughts.It is in this book that his thoughts become conflicted. In terms of the conflicts in the book of Social Contract, this paper analyzes the conflicts in Rousseau's political thoughts and the causes.
