Epidural analgesia effects of dezocine on postoperative pain after caesarean delivery

Objective: To investigate the epidural analgesia effects of dezocine on postoperative pain after caesarean delivery and its side effects.Methods: 60 ASA Ⅰ～Ⅱ patients that underwent caesarean delivery were randomly divided into group M and group D with 30 cases in each.Group M was given morphine 5 mg + dezocine 224 mg for postoperative analgesia,while group D was given dezocine 5mg + morphine 224mg,gradients were all diluted to 100 mL with physiological saline and treated by loading-continuous administration at a dose of 2 mL/h by a pump.VAS was applied for evaluating analgesia effects and side effects of the two groups were observed.Results: Satisfactory VAS scores were shown in both groups,while significant lower incidence of nausea,vomiting and skin itching was observed in group D comparing with group M(P0.05).Conclusions: Dezocine used for epidural analgesia in postoperative pain after caesarean delivery shows better outcomes and less adverse reactions than morphine.
