Abstract
Objective:To study the hemostatic mechanism of ShiBiZhi capsules. Methods:The ShiBiZhi capsules were supplemented to tested animals. The bleeding time and the coagulation time were measured in mice. The kaolin partial thromboplastin time (KPTT) was monitored in rats. The plasma recalcification time (PRT) and the prothrombin time (PT) were determined in rabitts.Results:ShiBiZhi capsules could significantly reduce the bleeding time,the coagulation time,the KPTT,the PRT and the PT.Conclusion:ShiBiZhi capsules acted as a hemostatic by modulating both intrinsic and extrinsic coagulation system.
