In recent years,more than twanty breeder birds,over ten stud cattles, stud sheeps and stud swines have been introduced gradually from home and abroad in our province.Because they have had high yield quality, and so have occupied our market. At the same time, due to we had introduced breeds blindly, appears the probrem of breeds are too many and diverse, whithout order. Following high yield and current breeds have been spreading and extending, many breed reasources, whitch had been raised successfully for long history term have been decreased and dispeared rapidly. Therefore,we aimed at actual situation and problems of breed resources of livestock and poultry of Shaanxi, and combined prattise of production of animal husbandry in recent years, to the problem of local breed resources of livestock and poultry protecting and developing as well as utilizing well, we put forward proposals and countermeasures especially.
