Abstract
Lexical research is always a focus among linguistics scholars.However,lexical pragmatic meaning research is largely ignored for the fact that there is no unanimous agreement towards whether there exists pragmatic meaning.Meanwhile,Pragmatic inference,dynamic contextual theory and lexical pragmatics from the perspective of cognitive pragmatics provide brand-new interpretation towards lexical items,which offer great enlightenments towards college English lexical teaching as well.
