Abstract
Objective:To observe the curative effect of Feifu Kang in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods:64 patients with advanced cancer were allocated to two groups randomly. The patients in control group were given GP or TP Chemotherapy. The patients in treatment group were given pure traditional Chinese medicine with Feifu Kang. The size of the primary lesion, survival rate, living quality, adverse reaction rate and immune function were observed. Results:Compairing the effect of the primary lesion, the treatment group was 15.63%,the control group was 40.63%,the different was significant(P0.05).The effect of the treatment group was lower than control group.1-year and 2-year survival rate of the treatment group were 68.75% and 43.75%,the control group were 43.75% and 21.88%.Comparing survival rate, the different was significant(P0.05).Comparing the efficiency of improved living quality after treatment, the treatment group was 78.12%,the control group was 45.62%,the different was significant(P0.05).Comparing adverse reaction with the rate of nausea and vomiting, leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, the different was very significant(P0.01),the treatment group was lower than control group.Comparing the increased rate of alanine aminotransferase and blood urea nitrogen with the change of liver and kidney function after treatment, the different was very significant or significant(P0.01,P0.05),which prompt liver and kidney dysfunction in the control group was greater than in that in the treatment group.Comparing immune function after treatment,in the aspects of NK,IL-2,CD+4/CD+8,the difference was very significant(P0.01),the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion:The curative effect of pure traditional Chinese medicine with Feifu Kang was better than chemotherapy alone.
