Abstract

The chemistry and electrochemistry of lithium electrolyte salts are introduced. Progress in studies of new electrolyte salts in recent years is reviewed. These new electrolyte salts include (1) LiTFSI and its analogous salts;(2) lithium chelatoborates; (3) lithium chelatophosphates. Future prospect for studies of new lithium electrolyte salts is given.
