Abstract
The project investigated the combustion process of rice straw together with its kinetics characters using thermodynamic method.The rice straw was burned in air at the heating rate of 20 ℃/min,30 ℃/min,40 ℃/min.The final temperature was up to 800℃.From the plot of TG and DTG,the researchers has studied the influence of heating rate and temperature on the combustion process and built a kinetic equation of the reaction.The kinetic parameters of this kind of rice straw were obtained by Freeman-Carroll method.The combustion mechanism suggested will theoretically support the design of the boiler with rice straw as fuel.
