Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical features,diagnosis,and treatment of tracheo-bronchial foreign body aspiration by rigid bronchoscopy.Methods:In this retrospective study,513 tracheobronchial foreign body cases were diagnosed and treated by rigid bronchoscopy.Results:All foreign bodies were removed by rigid bronchoscopy successfully.One case of pen cap aspiration was transfered to department of thoracic surgery for open operation.Conclusion:Once the diagnosis of airway foreign body confirmed or highly suspected,the surgery of bronchoscopy examination should be make as soon as possible.Keeping general anesthesia to a certain depth under observation and accurate operation are important to reduce complications.
