The Comparison of the Therapeutic Effect Between the Electric Heat Moxibustion Apparatus and Moxa Cone Moxibustion for Treating Stomachache

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the efficacy for treating stomachache of Electric Heat Moxibustion Apparatus.Methods: The Electric Heat Moxibustion Apparatus was used to treat the stomachache as the treatment group and traditional moxa cone moxibustion was used as the control group,assess therapeutic effect according to the Criteria of diagnosis and therapeutic effect of diseases and syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine of our nation's traditional Chinese medicine office.Results:The therapeutic effect for treating group was same as that in the control group with no difference between the two groups.Conclusion: The Electric Heat Moxibustion Apparatus can replace traditional moxa cone moxibustion for treating stomachache,with it provides constant heat,safe,easy-to-use,free of pollution.And it can be used on multiple acupoints at the same time.
