Abstract

Study on the correlation of upland cotton cultivar hybrids F1 among the major economical traits, and analyze on path coefficient of lint yield , lint length and lint yield rate before frost. The results indicated that genetic correlation of boll weigh and lint yield was closed. Positive genetic effect is signal to lint yield; fiber length and lint yield rate before frost are closely about positive genetic correlation, and lint yield on positive genetic correlation is signal to fiber length ; lint yield rate before frost and boll weight are closely about positive genetic correlation, and lint index on positive genetic correlation is signal to lint yield rate before frost. Through the study pointed that the major direction of crop hybrid breeding about high-yield, top-quality and earliness is disease-resisted, boll weight and lint index.
