Abstract

This study adopted the method of split-plot experiment design,researched the directional cultivating conditions,planting density and fertilizer levels for semi-compact corn Pacific 98 and its effect on yield.The results indicated that the different density,fertilizer and interaction between the yield difference was a significant level.When fertilizer nitrogen was less than 25 kg per 667 m2,yield increased with the density decline,up to 30 kg,production declined but no significant decline;when the fertilizer in a relatively low density(3 500 plants per 667 m2),the yield increased with the increasing of the content of the fertilizer,but in the higher density(more than 4 000 plants per 667 m2)and nitrogen dosage increased to 30 kg,the production began to decline,but the decrease was not significant.The highest yield treatment was A2B3(4 000 plants per 667 m2,nitrogen 25 kg),the production was 628.6 kg per 667 m2.
