Abstract
Biocatalysis is an important way to replace and expand traditional organic synthesis for its significant advantages as high efficiency,high selectivity,moderate reaction condition and environmental benign.Progress of recent two years focused on the discovery and improvement of biocatalysts,exploring on the application of biocatalysis and biotransformation to industrial scale which includes developing new reaction systems and new immobilizing methods.It is forecasted the application of biocatalysis and biotransformation will develop rapidly in the production of high value-added chemicals such as medical intermediates.
