Abstract
The theoretical system of Confucianism in Pre-Qin Dynasty was extensive and profound,particularly paying attention to moral education.And inheriting the tradition was an important performance in the forming process of their moral education.As the last Masters of Confucianism in Pre-Qin Dynasty,Xunzi inherited the thoughts of Confucius and Mencius about the function,purpose,content and methodology of moral education to establish his thoughts of moral education,and thus Xunzi highlighted the Confucian’ tradition,enriched the pre-Qin Confucian’moral education thoughts,and amplified the capacity of Confucianism’accession to reality.
