Abstract
Aiming at the multi-cables coupling phenomenon in ship engineering, the electromagnetic coupling effects on the shielded cables are studied with shielded cable and coaxial cable existing at the same time. Based on the application of CST cable studio and engineering practice, the 3D simulation models of multicables are established and the system with single receiving cable and the system with two different kinds of receiving cables are simulated and analyzed, respectively. The results show that, when the shielded cable and coaxial cable exist at the same time, new electromagnetic coupling is found in the shielded cable and the magnitude and frequency of the coupling voltage are based on the relative location of the coaxial cable. On the other side, the original electromagnetic coupling in the shielded cable is almost not affected by the coaxial cable.
