Abstract

Blade of axial flowing turbine is a sculptural surface.By analyzing the characteristics of the blade surface, using the data of wood-mould blades, combining theories of thrice NURBS curves and adopting UG modeling methods based on NURBS curves, the geometric modeling of the blade has been made.It provides numerical model for the exact manufacture of the blade, improves machining efficiency and enhances precision and quality of blades.
