Abstract
As a sub-discipline of anthropology,economic anthropology is interlocutory of anthropology and economy.In 1940s,economic anthropology rose in America and quickly developed to a new interdisciplinary subject of concerning economic part in anthropology.In 1980s,theory and methodology of western economic anthropology began to be introduced into China,and after twenty-year slow development,economic anthropology evolved as an important sub-discipline in anthropology in China.At present,the theory and methodology of economic anthropology is experiencinglocalizationof Chinese practice.
