Abstract

A typical 6-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission is taken as an example to introduce its structure and working principle. Its latest application and prospect are analyzed and it is compared with the manual transmission(MT),the electronically controlled automatic mechanical transmission(AMT),the hydro-mechanical automatic transmission(AT)and the continuously variable transmission(CVT).
