Abstract

The paper analyzes utilization of water resources of Yellow River basin since integrated regulation of water based on data published by the Yellow River Water Resources Bulletin. The outcomes show that after integrated regulation, the diversion and consumption of surface water and consumption of groundwater are in momentum of increasing annually after all-time low of diversion(consumption) of critical drought period in 2003;comparing 2006 with 1999,the agricultural consumption of surface water decreases from 91.5% of total to 76.6%;the rate of growth of industrial and domestic consumption is greater, increasing from 7.2% of total to 12.4% and;the water quality of provincial boundaries becomes better obviously and length of river section where can meet categories Ⅱ and Ⅲ standards is somewhat increased.
