Based on the urban Gas enterprise's requirement of Gas Network Monitoring System , this paper present the analysis and design of gas pipe network SCADA systems, including the theory of real-time database, the schema of SCADA database, the authority system of SCADA system, the mode of managing data historian, the co-operation of process in Distributed process and data and function backup key module
