Abstract

Wei Zhuang is a master who is good at not only but also Ci writing in the Five Dynasties at the end of Tang Dynasty. He brought his profound experience accumulated in the writing of into the creation of Ci making the former greatly affect the latter. Largely stemming from the poet's personal experience and cultural frames of mind, this influence can be found in two aspects such as the expression of individual emotions and feelings as well as the lucid and elegant style of his Ci. Under the influence of his poem, WEI Zhuang's Ci has a touch of poetic tendency and becomes the origin of the technique of wrting Ci with the style of poem adopted by the writers of later ages.
