The Interrelationship between Urban Tourism Industry and City Management——A Case Study of Chengdu City

Abstract

This paper discusses the interrelationship between tourism development and city management.It clarifies that tourism development stimulates the improvement of city management,while city management gives impetus to the development of tourism industry.After illustrating some major problems that Chengdu city has in terms of city management,it provides the tourism stimulated strategy for improving the city management,considering the background that Chengdu is now biding for Best Tourist City in China.
