During the middle of the Warring State period,the Zhou dynasty had already waned in power and couldn't governed the country,and among the states,those traditional great powers such as Wei State had also declined,the kings of those newly enpowered states such as Qin,Qi and Zhao were not satisfied with the title of king,and began to consider how to become the emperor.Therefore,the king of Qin declared himself as the West Emperor and suggested the king of Qi as the East Emperor.In order to revenge for being defeated by the Qi state,the Yan State sent the famous spy,Su Qin,to the Qi state and persuaded the king of Qi gave up the title of emperor,beside this,the other states were unwilling to see the Qin state become more and more powerful and they began to unite together to attack Qin state,finally,the king of Qin had to gave up the title of emperor.
