Abstract

Attaining the luffing motion of crane by using rope luffing device with a pair of sheave sets can almost keep hook height unchanged.Considering geometric position relations between hook height and crane components during hoisting,parameters of sheave sets are optimized so that the hook can move horizontally with almost the same hook height.
