Abstract
In the paper the non-physical education student athletics behavior in six normal universities was studied by means of the questionnaire, statistics and literature. The main results are as following: The main factor that affects student athletics behavior was the interest in sports. Students thought that the athletics main value was to improve their health of physical and mind. Investigation results showed that the state of students taking part in sports exercise was not very good in normal universities. The athletics item that students like to join was the ball sports. The main factors that restricted students to sports exercise were short of sports ground and equipments. The ability that students want to improve was the ability of science exercise.
