Effect of Adding Different Proportion Rape Straw on Swine Manures Composting

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to use swine manure and rape straw as raw materials for high temperature compost,through adding different proportion rape straw in composting of adjustment of C/N,temperature,germination index,total nitrogen,organic and pH matter parameters used as compost maturity indicators.Results indicated that when the C/N was 22.72,the fresh swine manure: rape straw as 6.5∶1 with other equal conditions,the effect of composting was better.Each index reached the better level.
