Abstract

A method for synthesis of isobutyl acetate based on ceric sulfate as catalyst was developed. The influence factors were examined through orthonormal experiments. The best condition is weight of catalyst 0.6g,molar ratio 1:1,the water-entrainer cyclohexane 5mL and reaction time 2.5h.Under the optimum condition, the yield was over 96%.
