Abstract

In my opinion,the history of Confucianism before Qin Dynasty to that of the Song and Ming Dynasty is also the history of the ancient Chinese theory of human nature in some way .This paper analyzed the main ideas of the theory of human nature, the main representatives of the Confucian school and their significance or disadvantage,and shows the historical development of ancient Chinese theory of human nature.
